1. Choose your plan and create an account
2. We send you a web design survey for you to send us information about your business, logos, photos and any notes you may have
3. We review your content, ask for any additional clarification, and build your site.
4. You review the site for any major changes and we make a round of tweaks, if needed.
5. You provide us access to your domain registrar so we can update your domain's DNS settings to point to our servers, and the site goes live!

Decisive Sites was built to cater to the millions of businesses out there that need a real web presence without all the fluff. The base packages are suitable for small, medium, and even some large businesses - they offer a great solution for getting your company online, generating organic search traffic, gathering leads, and showcasing your products or services.

Where the Decisive Sites platform may fall short is if you need to use custom or third-party plugins that we do not support "out of the box" (don't worry, we have a solution - read on!). We try to be for everyone, but to keep our infrastructure secure and performant, we cannot add every plugin out there. We strive to support and use the best and most popular plugins that provide essential services for the majority of business sites.

If you need special, non-standard functionality not offered by a supported plugin, we can always build you a site outside of the primary Decisive Sites platform, just contact us for a quote!

Look... everybody wants $1,000,000 in the bank and a yacht. We don't deny it. BUT, our core desire is to provide real value for as many businesses as we can. When Decisive Sites came to the drawing board, we wanted to keep it simple, provide real websites that scale with our customers, and keep the price low enough to make you stop and say "wow seriously?". It's really that simple.

We're not doing custom designs mockup services and building fancy websites with overly custom functionality, we're combining years of experience to create unique websites for the average business that doesn't need (or need to be sold) a bunch of junk that won't help them move forward and grow. We hate it when clients tell us they paid $5,000, or even $10,000, for a website that, in many cases, isn't as functional, user-friendly or easy on the eyes as a Decisive Sites product! They usually don't like it when we tell them what we could have done for them, either. 🙂

The Decisive Sites team is well-versed in online marketing and custom development. Absolutely! All of our websites are responsive and mobile friendly. We optimize the desktop view for each site to create the perfect mobile experience for your users.

If you are on the Essentials plan, you can request changes to your website once a month and we will be glad to make small updates (swap photos and content, etc). Large change requests (layout, design) will be quoted and billed at an hourly rate.

If you are on the Business+ plan, you will have access to make edits as you see fit.

Please note that neither plan includes the ability to add third-party plugins or make core code changes. We restrict plugin additions to ensure the security and performance of our infrastructure for all users.

Because we offer monthly pricing and build websites for our clients upfront, we cannot offer immediate transfer of sites away from Decisive Sites.

However, we will provide the relevant files and database export if you A) have been with Decisive Sites for two full years, or B) pay the difference of two full years minus the amount you have already paid (buyout).

For example, if you have been with us for one year and would like to transfer your site, you can pay the balance of one more year worth of monthly or yearly payment, depending on your subscription, and we will provide you with the files and database export required for a developer to migrate your website to another host. Please also note that we do not provide support for the act of migrating your website to another host (although we can provide a quote for the process) - only the files required (which any knowledgeable WordPress developer should be able to take and transfer easily).

Please note that if you do choose to buy out your site and want to move it to another host/server, you will need to purchase your own licenses for any paid plugins that we may have provided access to as a part of your Decisive Sites subscription. Without these, the website will not look or function the same.

Because e-commerce requires additional time, resources, and security that would impact the entire infrastructure, we do not offer traditional product-based e-commerce capabilities for our base packages. However, we are well-versed in e-commerce, so if you would like to create an e-commerce website, please contact us and we would be more than happy to put together a proposal for you!

If you need to do simple sales that can be collected via a simple form and credit card entry (tickets, donations, etc), we can implement credit card processing for the form plugin we use. This is handled on a case-by-case basis for Business+ plan subscribers and depends heavily on the complexity of the product or service you are wanting to sell. Please contact us for more information. We envision a version of Decisive Sites in the future that will be strictly for our e-commerce users, so please don't hesitate to voice your desire so that we know you're out there.

Decisive Sites is powered by WordPress, which runs 59.7% of all websites powered by a content management system (CMS), and 28.8% of all websites on the internet today (Source: W³Techs - As of October, 2017). The closest competitor (Joomla), only has a 6.7% and 3.2% market share, respectively. WordPress utilizes PHP as its core server-side coding language (PHP powers 82.9% of all websites).

Aside from the above, the Decisive Sites team has worked with WordPress for 15+ years on a professional agency level, including marketing, e-commerce, and custom development, so we're somewhat biased! We've used it to build everything from large e-commerce sites that manage half a million products, to large global multilingual sites, custom file management and delivery platforms, and... of course, Decisive Sites.

You can cancel anytime, however we do not provide refunds for payments received and your website's theme/layout files and database will not be provided unless you have been with us for two years or pay the difference at the time of cancellation. If you decide to cancel without "buying out" your site, you will be responsible for retrieving any content you wish to retain from your website within 15 days of the notice of cancellation, at which time the website will be removed from our server. We retain the right to use any layouts or color schemes on other projects, but your content and images that you provided are yours.

Please note that if you do choose to buy out your site and want to move it to another host/server, we will provide the files and database export that is needed to do so, however, you will need to purchase your own licenses for any paid plugins that we may have provided access to as a part of your Decisive Sites subscription. Without these, the website will not look or function the same. We can provide a quote for assisting in this migration process if needed.

Our satisfaction guarantee extends to the launch of your new website. If you are not happy with what we have built when it is ready to launch, we will refund the amount you have paid thus far. Post-launch and beyond, please refer to our cancellation FAQ.
